Community Award Winners

The Henbury and Brentry Community Awards were celebrated at the Lawns Club on 27th June 2014. The event was brilliantly organised by a small team of residents led by Rose Carr  with terrific support from Lynn Parfitt from Henbury and Southmead Neighbourhood Partnership. Henbury and Brentry Awards ceremony June 27th 2014


Do you know someone  who has given a lot to the local community, supported a group or individual, overcome a personal obstacle or just ‘gone that extra mile’. If so please pick up a nomination form from Henbury Library or either of the local surgeries and nominate the person / people you have in mind. Alternatively you can use this link : nominate on line . Names of all those who nominate  will be placed in a draw for a £25 gift voucher

There are limited tickets available for those who have not been nominated for the award ceremony on 27th June  which will be held atThe Lawn’s Station, Henbury, Bristol, BS107TB ( Formally the Sun life sports ground)

Anyone else wanting to attend please can they go to the Henbury Library and leave their details. The cost will be £4.00 per head. If people have been successful they can pick up and pay for tickets the week of the 23rd June at Henbury Library.

Please note that this event is organised by Lynn Parfitt of the local Neighbourhood Partnership and a team of local residents with some resources from the Henbury & Brentry Community Council. To avoid any misunderstanding or confusion the current serving officers of the latter organisation have decided they do not wish to accept nomination.
