Community Action Plan – September update

Our Community Action Plan was accepted by the First Steps organisation who funded our project and approved by the Dept. of Communities and Local Government in early April.

The Plan was formally accepted by the Henbury and Brentry Community Council on 21st April.

We held a Launch Event in Henbury Village Hall on 13th July 2016. This was funded by the Neighbourhood Partnership Wellbeing Fund and was attended by over fifty residents and representatives of local groups and organisations who enjoyed light refreshments prepared by volunteers. Councillor Margaret Hickman spoke warmly on behalf of Bristol City Council in welcoming the plan, which was published at the event. Forty people took away full colour copies of the plan

Two versions of the Plan are available from the links below:

Full plan complete with photos/ drawings/graphics

Text of the full plan without photos, etc

Full Survey graphical summaries

and a table of all 133 specific actions embedded in the plan can be viewed here (if you need the password please use the register option): Specific Actions in our CAP

Work has now commenced on delivering the plan with very significant progress on the Community Centre front (see separate post for details) and the team facilitating the provision of Youth Services and Facilities is setting about bringing together all organisations involved with youth in the area to adopt a general approach
