Community First Applications: apply now!

The final year of Community First Funding has arrived.

Deadlines:

Friday 22nd August 2014 & Tuesday 30th September 2014

New applications are now being invited from any local community group which can deliver work in Henbury and Southmead around the following themes:

– Providing activities and things to do for young people

– Supporting activities for older people that combat isolation, including for minority ethnic older people

– Supporting improved communication in Henbury and Brentry and getting older and young people working together

– Developing a Community Centre for Henbury and Brentry

– Getting people using green spaces and allotments across Henbury and Brentry

IMPORTANT: Because this is the final year of the Community First Programme all projects must be completed and have spent any monies awarded by the END OF FEBRUARY 2015. Please make sure your project can deliver within this timescale before applying.

Apply for Funding

The third year’s Community First funding for 2013/14 is now open for applications. The first deadline for applications is 12noon on Monday 24th June 2013. There is a total of £8,488 in the 2013/14 Community First allocation for Henbury/Brentry.

2013/2014 Deadlines:

12noon on Monday 24th June 2013

12noon on Tuesday 27th August 2013

These are the Fund Priorities:

  • Providing activities and things to do for young people
  • Supporting activities for older people that combat isolation, including for  minority ethnic older people
  • Supporting improved communication in Henbury and Brentry and getting older and young people working together
  • Developing a Community Centre for Henbury and Brentry
  • Getting people using green spaces and allotments across Henbury and Brentry

Community First Funding Round Open

Henbury and Brentry’s Community First fund is now open for applications. The deadline for applications for the 2011/12 fund is Monday 16th April. The Fund has £5,624 to allocate by 30th June 2012. These are the Fund Priorities:

  • Developing a Community Centre for Henbury and Brentry
